Foundation Offers Nurse Scholarship Awards

The Lancaster Osteopathic Health Foundation is proud to help meet the needs of the Lancaster County community for skilled health professionals by providing tuition scholarships for Lancaster County students entering nursing education programs, as well as students already enrolled in one of the programs.  Nursing students attending local nursing education programs at Lancaster County Career and Technology Center, PA College of Health Sciences, Harrisburg Area Community College-Lancaster Campus, Eastern Mennonite University-Lancaster Campus, and Millersville University are eligible to apply for a scholarship.  Lancaster County students enrolled in any accredited BSN, master, post master, doctoral nursing programs and certification classes are also encouraged to apply for a scholarship award.  “We are thrilled to offer scholarship assistance to local nursing students as they pursue their education.  We are particularly pleased to be able to support students who are just beginning their nursing careers as well as those who wish to advance their education.  It strengthens the capacity of our local medical community which in turn benefits the community as a whole,” says Anna Brendle Kennedy, Executive Director.
